Esta semana, BBC Culture publicó el ranking de las mejores películas del siglo, incluyendo el año 2000, luego de analizar las opiniones de 177 periodistas y curadores de todo el planeta, en 36 países, incluyendo cada continente, con excepción de la Antártida.
Y el puesto número uno quedó para "Mulholland Drive" (El Camino de los Sueños) (2001), escrita y dirigida por David Lynch, y protagonizada por Naomi Watts.
Latinoamérica también se hizo presente con títulos como "El Secreto de sus Ojos" (2009), de Juan José Campanella, en el puesto 91, "Pan’s Labyrinth" (2006) de Guillermo del Toro, en el escalón 17 y "Niños del Hombre" (Children of Men) (2006) en el 13.
